Y’all, why is Yara Shahidi such a mood? The actress posted a picture of herself while working with her stylist Jason Bolden wearing Lady Gaga’s intergalactic VMAs outfit from a few weeks ago. You know – the silver dress with the space helmet? Yep, that’s the one! Yara played dress up in Gaga’s look by Area and posted a picture on Instagram with the caption “My ~official~ application to be @ladygaga’s coat holder 💁🏽‍♀️ Big love to @jasonbolden for this intergalactic moment!” If I’m being honest I wouldn’t mind being a coat holder for Gaga too if it meant getting to wear some of these amazing outfits and getting to be in the singer’s presence.
The dress featured a voluminous skirt that was, excuse the pun, out of this world, and had long sleeves and an attached hood. She also wore a face mask and had the front part of the dress pulled up over her mouth. To finish off her outfit she chose a pair of sleek Adidas sneakers rather than chunky platform boots like Gaga did for the virtual award show.
