Lori Harvey Styled a Micro Bra Top With a Ball Skirt for Harper’s Bazaar Party

Harper’s Bazaar made a splashy return to the New York Fashion Week scene, hosting its annual Icons Party at Bloomingdale’s 59th street flagship store on September 9. The star-studded soirée, which also celebrated the retailer’s 150th anniversary, closed out the first official day of Fashion Week in style, welcoming big name celebrities who attended in droves.
Lori Harvey wowed the crowd in a bold Christian Cowan ensemble. Comprised of a revealing micro crop top and a voluminous, high-waist velvet maxi skirt in hot pink, it had all the hallmarks of a memorable look. Other stars who embraced color include Shay Mitchell in a feather-trimmed minidress by The Attico; Sabrina Carpenter in a light blue crop top and column skirt; Ashley Graham in dark purple velvet Di Petsa separates; and Drew Barrymore in black and white Ralph Lauren tailoring, finished with a bright pink Christopher John Rogers coat.
Meanwhile, Dove Cameron made a case for sporting motor gear, arriving in an off-white armor-like top pulled from Balmain’s fall 2022 collection. The star was hard to miss in the futuristic garment, which boasts an aesthetic similar to what we saw on other Parisian catwalks, such as Dior, last season. Cameron balanced out the edge with a silky beige mermaid skirt.
Julia Fox, on the other hand, stuck to the neutral theme but went the sheer dress route in Joanna Prazmo. She sent shockwaves down the carpet in a saran wrap design fashioned to appear as wax, and accented with metal hardware. Her matching clutch and plastic-wrapped pumps were intriguing accessories, though they come as no surprise given the star’s record of eccentric looks.
Ahead, check out the best celebrity outfits at the event.
