Whenever Jennifer Lopez graces the silver screen, she usually delivers a memorable fashion moment or two. One peek at the trailer for her forthcoming film, Amazon Prime’s “Shotgun Wedding,” reveals that one such moment will involve a casual yet cool crop top and underwear combo (more on that below). The film also features “The White Lotus” star Jennifer Coolidge, who will surely bring the humor to this action movie meets rom-com. When Lopez shared the trailer on her social media, she wrote, “turning tradition on its head with a *bang emoji*.”
While the surprisingly fashionable trailer includes everything from a bright marigold-yellow gown to an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, a nude tulle gown, and a slew of guests clad in cocktail attire, the outfit viewers and J Lo fans can’t stop talking about is the trailer’s opening look. Specifically, where Lopez stands before her future mother-in-law, played by Coolidge, wearing a tiny white crop top and bikini briefs.
As Lopez looks at Coolidge’s character, she wears a cropped white cotton tee that reads “Midland Robins,” which she pairs with classic white bikini briefs. In the scene, Coolidge’s character quips, “Is that genetics? Or Pilates?”
With just a month until the film debuts on Amazon Prime on Jan. 27, 2023, J Lo is sure to be prepping for her press-junket appearances and the ensembles she’ll wear for her time in the spotlight.
