Britney Spears Hit the Beach in a Neon-Green String Bikini

On Monday, Sept. 12, Britney Spears appeared to take down her Instagram account, though just days before she was on the platform sharing glimpses of her vacation in the UK. In a now-deleted video, the pop star wore one of her swimwear go-tos: the string bikini. This time, the 40-year-old “Hold Me Closer” singer stepped out in a bright green style as she walked along the beach. She kept words on the post to a minimum, captioning the snapshot with three Union Jack emoji.
In the video, Spears hopped into the ocean at the shoreline. She sat down in the water and laid back just as the clip came to an end. Before it was taken down, the video had already amassed more than 2.1 million views and nearly 2,000 comments.
This behind-the-scenes video came just hours before a second post where she openly discussed being released from her years-long conservatorship, writing, “Sorry I will never forget because of the pain and the difference in being out of my head clear moving my feet . . . “
Up until now, Spears had been relatively active on Instagram. A few days ago, she was in Arkansas, where she shared several outfit snaps, including a hot-pink Barbiecore bikini. And mere days before that, she was making waves in a pink and yellow polka-dot thongkini while spending time with friends on a boat. Neon swimwear is a clear favorite for Spears, and she’s likely still wearing the trend during her down time, even if she’s no longer sharing as many candids with fans and followers.
